Our co-founders, Sheridan and Scott, have a shared history of driving growth and innovation in the software industry.
They first met as part of the leadership team at Deacom, an ERP software company. Together, they faced the challenges of managing and scaling a rapidly expanding software organization across multiple industries and geographies. Their experience provided them with invaluable insights into what it takes to build a successful software company from the ground up.
In 2021, Deacom was acquired, marking the end of an era for Sheridan and Scott. But their journey was far from over - fueled by their passion for innovation and desire to make a difference, they decided to start Essembi with the goal of helping other software companies scale and innovate faster.

Sheridan Bulger
Co-Founder & CEO
Sheridan is the leader of Essembi's product strategy. Sheridan got his start in our customer's chair, working his way up the org chart from developer to CPO of Deacom. He played a pivotal role in scaling and modernizing the product, overseeing a major tech stack migration and leading the development of a cutting-edge cloud solution.
Following Deacom's acquisition by ECI Solutions in 2021, Sheridan remained on board to help integrate the product and team into ECI's organization, establishing a roadmap for a number of key product initiatives.
When he's not working on the next game-changing product, Sheridan loves to explore the great outdoors with his family and three dogs.

Scott Deakins
Co-Founder & President
Scott's primary focus is on Essembi's growth strategy. Scott honed his extensive leadership and growth skills during his time as COO of Deacom and as the Founder of Under Par Performance Golf.
At Deacom, Scott focused on scaling a global team to match the company's aggressive growth strategy. At Under Par, he built a differentiated product offering and then focused on sales and marketing to drive new customer acquisition.
When he's not at a keyboard, Scott can be found on the golf course, taking a rejuvenating run with a good podcast or flinging weights around in a CrossFit gym. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and twin daughters.
